    Description

    Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a renewable energy provider with a commitment to professional development and sustainability to recruit a Graduate Electrical Engineer to cover their anaerobic digestion assets in Scotland.

    The Graduate Electrical Engineer role comes with a salary of up to 31,000 with genuine growth and development opportunity.

    Responsibilities and duties

    Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer you will:

    Be involved in the preparation of electrical and instrumentation schedules
    Focussing on project implementation, you will support with the tendering, installation and pre commissioning processes
    Be involved in the commissioning phases or projects, supporting the Project Engineers
    Manage process improvement from project inception to completion, with support from more senior members of staff in the initial employment period
    Help to encourage a positive and safety related environment
    Ensure install and project work is carried out as per P and ID / P&IDs
    Other duties as required

    Professional qualifications

    We are looking for someone with the following:

    Degree in Electrical and/or Instrumentation Engineering
    Any knowledge of modules completed around waste processing, anaerobic digestion or something related would be an advantage
    UK driving licence
    Excellent IT skills

    Personal skills

    The Graduate Electrical Engineer role would suit someone who is:
