Our client is a successful, small family-run company that prides itself on producing high-quality products.
With a friendly and engaging team of three in the QC department, they value their employees and foster a collaborative work environment.
We are seeking a Quality Controller to join their team and contribute to their commitment to excellence.Responsibilities:
Collect samples from raw materials and prepare them for analysis.
Utilise Gas Chromatography (GC) equipment for sample analysis.
Analyse data produced by the GC to ensure quality standards are met.
Measure depth indexes and maintain accurate records of all analyses.
Prepare samples for tasting panels.
Actively participate in tasting panels to evaluate flavour profiles.
Oversee and manage all aspects of quality control for the clients.
Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Work collaboratively in a team of three, maintaining a fun and engaging work atmosphere.
Support and assist team members as needed.
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a Quality Control role, ideally within a laboratory setting.
Familiarity with working in a food industry environment is preferred, but a background in pharma or scientific fields is also acceptable.
High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be creative in problem-solving.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
