Manchester CGL - Eclypse is looking to recruit, a
-
Team Leader for within our dynamic Young Person's Service. With the support of the Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of service that empowers Children, Young People and their Families across Manchester to overcome issues around substance misuse. You will provide line management to practitioners within the service.

You will oversee the effective care co-ordination of an integrated working approach and lead by example in creating a professional and Children, Young Person and Family focused culture within their team.

You will ensure a positive learning environment where integrity and professionalism are paramount, whilst empowering staff to ensure all attempts at positive outcomes are achieved for those using the service.

You will support the Project Manager in the continual development and improvement of service delivery.

You will develop and maintain excellent working relationships with partners both internally within the service and externally within wider partnerships.

You will be expected to take responsibility for personal development and participate in regular supervision and appraisals.**_
Please note - This is a fixed term opportunity for 12 months._**
Responsibilities:
About the role:


  • To provide regular supervision and line management to identified team members and contribute to the delivery of a quality service.
  • To support and guide the team to assess children, young people and their families, prepare individual and group plans and motivate them to actively engage with support.
  • To ensure equality of service provision throughout the service.
  • To identify and collaborate effectively with partner agencies and bring a proactive approach to partnership working to work towards positive outcomes for the service.
  • To inspire, empower and motivate team members to ensure an engaged and unified learning culture.
  • To identify learning and development needs of team members and to support them in achieving their learning requirements.
  • To take a lead on performance management, utilising tools such as observed practise and implementing effective support and action plans where improvement needs are identified.
  • To work with the Project Manager to maintain governance and ensure monitoring systems are used effectively.
  • To demonstrate effective decisionmaking skills, delegation, risk management and evaluation.
  • To delegate workloads evenly and ensure contingencies are in place for busy periods.
  • To work with the Project Manager to ensure the child's voice is at the centre of all work carried out.
  • To work collaboratively across the service with CGL colleagues such as psychologist, social workers, and recovery workers to ensure a joined up, all age family approach to achieve positive outcomes for families.

  • Work flexibly across operational sites as required.
  • Work flexibly within an agreed number of hours of work to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision.
  • Seek to improve personal performance, contribution, knowledge, and skills.
  • Participate in appraisal, training, and supervision processes.
  • Keep abreast of developments in services, legislation, and practice relevant to the relevant client group.
  • Ensure the implementation of all CGL policies.
  • Contribute to maintaining safe systems of work and a safe environment.
  • Undertake other duties appropriate to the grade of the post.
