Oversee all aspects of the logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and proceduresDevelop and implement strategies to optimise warehouse layout and maximise space utilisationCoordinate the receipt, storage, and delivery of goods, ensuring accuracy and timely completionManage inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimise stock discrepanciesMonitor and analyse key performance indicators, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfactionLead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and guidance to drive successMaintain strong relationships with suppliers and carriers, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective and reliable transportation servicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive operational excellenceStay updated with industry trends and best practises, advising on potential improvement opportunitiesRequirements:Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and experience with inventory control methodsProven track record of successfully managing a team and driving operational excellenceExcellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlinesExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levelsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding innovative solutionsAbility to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach
