    Mid-Senior Bioinformatics Analyst
    Flexible (Remote/On-site)

    Salary:
    £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Mid-Senior Bioinformatics Analyst.

    In this role, you will play a key role in the analysis of genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic datasets, contributing to the success of our research projects.

    Lead the analysis of biological data using bioinformatics tools and techniques, with a focus on genomic, transcriptomic, or proteomic datasets.

    Develop and implement bioinformatics pipelines for the processing, analysis, and interpretation of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data.
    Perform quality control, normalisation, and statistical analysis to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analysis results.
    Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to understand project requirements and deliver analysis results that support research objectives.

    Stay updated with the latest developments in bioinformatics methodologies and tools, and incorporate new techniques into analysis workflows as appropriate.

    Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional development.
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, biostatistics, or a related field.
    Proven experience in bioinformatics analysis, with a strong understanding of genomic, transcriptomic, or proteomic data analysis.
    Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl, with experience in developing bioinformatics pipelines and scripts.
    Solid understanding of statistical methods and data visualisation techniques applied to biological data analysis.
    Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to take initiative, prioritise tasks, and drive projects to completion.
    Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
