Site Engineer - Water Sector - West Midlands

The Role
This project is on a Severn Trent sewage works and includes the installation of new infrastructure for the treatment of the different stages of sewage treatment.
The scheme is a fast moving, complex installation with multiple structures being built at the same time. Total work force expected to reach around 100 at the peak construction period this summer.
Site Engineer tasks will include:
- Setting out of concrete structures, Ductile Iron Pipes, General Drainage and ducting.
- Working with the Site Manager and Foreman to assist with supervision where required and keeping records including (but not limited to) daily diaries, Inspection test plans,
- Movement of material/muck and service records and as built information.
- Ensure work is installed as per the spec and our QA standards.
- The engineer will need to be able to work in a fast high pressure environment on their own initiative ensuring engineering tasks are completed ahead of the programme.
- Water/Waste Water experience is essesntial.
- Experience with Leica Total Stations and GPS preferred.
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualified,
- Engineering qualification at HNC or above,
- CAT & Genny trained.
- IT literate with knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint, Teams etc would be beneficial.
