What you'll do

In your new role, you'll join our agile mission team which is focussed on helping Mettle to become a Bank by building a new full-stack digital banking and payments platform and supporting operations.

This role will work closely with our Operations and Riskteams and help define operational processes and procedures, ensuring that Mettle operations are trained and have the tools they need to service customers

You'll also:

Collate evidence to support regulatory rules mapping, raising new requirements where gaps are identified
Support the Operations Change team on discovery items, raising new tickets to create solutions to the requirements
Produce high quality and accurate operating procedures and process map documentation that will be used by the Mettle Operations teams
Prepare documentation for approval from Operations and Risk
Produce training documentation and FAQs to aid Operation Teams on new processes
Facilitate training of new processes to end Operations users
Collate feedback from Operations and ensure improvements are made to new processes so they are ready for full customer launch
Identify and raise new risks, issues and noncompliance to regulations or policies
Work with wider teams and stakeholders to find mitigations to any risks, issues and dependencies identified

The skills you'll need

You'll need to have knowledge of at least one relevant operational area in either card operations, financial crime, payment operations, banking operations or similar.

You'll also need:

Knowledge of banking operational areas
Experience in process mapping and documentation creation in standard formats
Experience working in an agile environment and with Jira/Confluence
Knowledge of Zendesk, Mettle Ops Tool and Genie Ops tool desirable not essential
Good initiative and attention to detail
