About the role Function of department**Supporting clients to improve health and humanitarian outcomes for citizens in low
- and middle-income countries. Contribute to the success of Crown Agents by delivering profitable business results and building Crown Agent's reputation as 'go to' provider for high quality and inclusive health systems strengthening health supply chain and humanitarian solutions


Main job purpose
You will provide support to the Technical Lead, Healthcare Delivery and the Health team, including but not limited to providing support on the delivery of health projects, the administration of the health team, as well as supporting bids and developing the health track library


Main job responsibilities
General

  • Build knowledge and experience through working with colleagues, developing networks, communicating widely
  • Be aware of and adhere to company quality standards and procedures in accordance with Crown Agent's commitment to working to the highest quality standards and striving for continual improvement
  • Support business planning for Crown Agents Health Team
  • Prepare agendas and ensure relevant papers are complete and distributed prior to attending meetings
  • Collaborate with the Technical Lead, Healthcare Delivery on various projects and attend relevant meetings; follow up on pertinent action items
  • Help resolve operational pinch points which need following up and tracking across multiple business teams
Operational / Delivery

  • Support the delivery of portfolio of health programmes through providing technical advice and programme management as called upon
Growth

  • Compile research briefs across key health topics and geographical priority areas
  • Support active management of key client portals, quickly identifying opportunities and circulating them around to the team for a go, nogo decision
  • Support the submission of high quality concepts, proposals and budgets
Raising Crown Agents' profile

  • Contribute and lead as appropriate the production of communications and externally facing products, such as community health research papers, and participate in "communities of practice" to remain abreast of latest developments, standards, tools, and methodologies within the sector.
  • Establish and maintain close relationships and effective networks with our clients, partners and consultants, contributing to the marketing activities of the organisation and representing Crown Agents at a senior level to the external world.
Safeguarding

  • Be aware of and compliant with all the standards following Safeguarding procedures and policies. Promote Crown Agents' speak up culture to protect the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults
General

  • Be aware of and adhere to company quality standards and procedures in accordance with Crown Agents' commitment to working to the highest quality standards and striving for continual improvement
  • Undertake international and national travel on consultancy and research assignments as may be needed
Where applicable,
- undertake all procurement in compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) in accordance with the provisions of our Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (Human) (WDA (H)) issued by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and our United Kingdom Controlled Drug Licence issued by the Home Office


About you Qualification**
Experience

  • Solid Microsoft Office and database management skills.
  • Experience working with budgets desirable
  • Strong selfmanagement skills
  • Strong organisational skills

  • Proven ability to work across organisations with effective communications
  • A selfstarter, able to demonstrate high levels of initiative and motivation
