This role is for candidates with Science GCSE/A Levels, who are looking to start and build their experience in the scientific field
Responsibilities:
To be responsible for the documenting, sampling, testing and release of all incoming materials
To perform microbiological and endotoxin testing on all internal and clinic samples in an accurate and timely manner, and to liaise with clinics regarding sampling and to report all results to the clinics
To apply the necessary aseptic techniques to ensure that contamination does not occur during the sampling and testing of the samples due to Laboratory error
To carry out testing and calibration of samples and equipment from outside sources and produce relevant reports and certificates of calibration. Also, to conduct all in-house calibrations at their required due date and record on appropriate log sheets and database.
To ensure that Laboratories and equipment are kept in a clean and tidy condition and to dispose of all waste according to training manual
To conduct release of product, ensuring that the product has been manufactured in accordance with internal defined processes and procedures
To perform chemical and microbiological projects, validations and investigations as required, and to report all out of line/specification results to the appropriate person
Qualities and Qualifications:
Minimum GCSE passes within Maths and Science
Training will be provided for this role; however, we are looking for an individual who: is self-motivated; is a team player; possesses the ability to prioritise; has an all-round interest in the scientific sector.

Weekly rotating shifts: Monday to Friday) & Monday to Friday)
£12.07 per hour
