    Description

    Bodyshop Paint Technician

    Joining Johnsons Cars, you'll be working with one of the UK's leading independent Franchise Dealership Groups, with 58 multi-award winning Dealerships across the UK.

    As a Panel beater and Paint Technician in a busy workshop at our Volkswagen Bodyshop in Liverpool you'll be an integral part of our team, responsible for repairing and refinishing vehicles to meet our customers' expectations. You will work with the Bodyshop team to ensure the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

    Role and Responsibilities:

  • Fulfil all assigned tasks to the complete satisfaction of the customer.
  • Complete assigned jobs within the estimated paint times, adhering to productivity and efficiency targets.
  • Safeguard the customer's vehicle and its contents while it is in the Bodyshop.
  • Ensure that all repaired vehicles comply with safety standards before being returned to the customer.
  • Perform repairs and refinishing on vehicles according to best practices and established procedures.
  • Meet acceptable safety and quality standards in all repair work.
  • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in your work area.

    • The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working as a Panel Beater and or Paint Technician
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle repair techniques, including panel beating and paint spraying.
  • Proficiency in using various tools and equipment associated with the role.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to vehicle repair.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Any relevant certifications or licenses would be an advantage.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
