An exciting opportunity has become available for a Financial Controller to join a fast-growing property business in Stoke On Trent.

This is a newly created role due to the fast growth and expansion of this vibrant business. Our client is seeking a GroupFinancial Controller who is Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)


The main purpose of this role is to take ownership of the finance function and put the right controls in place to support growth.

Travel to other sites throughout the UK is required for this role.

  • Responsible for accurate, timely and relevant management information to include weekly KPI reports, monthly management accounts, weekly and monthly sales analyses.
  • Conduct reviews with budget holders and evaluate spend against sales performance and cost saving opportunities.
  • Preparing and reviewing all UK Statutory accounts.
  • Responsible for correctly processing and reporting VAT across various tax authorities.
  • Management of budget and reporting
  • Providing hands on leadership and management of the Group finance function. Immersing in the detail and adopting a handson approach.
