- Purchasing sufficient, profiled and retail-quality used car stock to ensure divisional budget volumes are achieved
- Being fully comply with all purchase, stock valuing and disposal-related policies and procedures, along with any relevant paperwork or administrative duties in line with Jardine Motors Group guidelines.
- Using Jardine Motors Group systems to monitor and forecast the required used car stock levels
- Maintaining relationships with manufacturer partners, and being acutely aware of franchise and dealership purchasing targets to maximise purchasing opportunities.
- Having a close understanding of the group, franchise and dealership used car budgets, and providing support with used car promotions, when required.
- Maintaining relevant trading standards knowledge and ensure trade description guidelines are followed at all times and in accordance with Company policy.
- Previous experience of managing a used car department
- A demonstrable understanding of the used car market
- Experience in working within an PLC environment is desirable
- Proven negotiating and influencing skills
- 33 days of annual leave (including bank holidays) + your Birthday off, if it falls on a working day.
