    Description

    Devon County Council are recruiting to the post of Social Care Reablement Manager North, this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.

    Social Care Reablement (SCR) is a short term service to support people to regain their independence on agreed goals working in their own home. Social Care Reablement support people to achieve the greatest level of independence that is possible on an individualised basis.

    The Role of Social Care Reablement Manager is to:

    Supervise and manage the deployment of staff and other resources as necessary within the CQC regulated SCR service and to contribute to the service planning and development of the SCR service whilst working collaboratively with colleagues within the service to meet changes in demand. You will directly line manage a team of Reablement Team Leader and support clerks.

    You will be required to work to the standards and regulatory framework of CQC along with meeting the organisational expectations of and Devon County Council. You will be directly accountable for the SCR service delivery in the north Devon locality, ensuring that service, staff and financial performance is delivered against expectations. This role requires the ability to confidently fulfil all spoken aspects of the role.

    Reablement is all about helping people to maintain, or regain, the skills they need to be able to live an independent life. As an experienced Manager you will utilise your skills to best effect in managing and supporting staff in a regularly changing environment due to service demands. You will show your effective communication skills along with the ability to think 'outside the box' for solutions which will ensure that our service users experience a quality service, demonstrable competent use of ICT will support you in your role.
