An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist with substantial experience in the field of neurology, to support the provision and development of our services to the stroke unit ,early supported discharge for stroke, neurology in-patients and neurology out-patients.

Applicants will be able to evidence post-graduate experience in the fields of acute stroke care and stroke rehabilitation.They will also have experience of the in and out-patient rehabilitation of patients with a wide range of other neurological conditions.
Applicants will be responsible, along with the rest of the senior team, for supervising more junior physiotherapists, TI's and assistants based within the team.
The Trust provides clinical placements for students from Sheffield and Nottingham and applicants will have experience of supporting students on undergraduate placements.
Senior staff have individual supervision and peer support as well as access to training.Qualifications and Training
oQualification in Physiotherapy at degree level or equivalent.
oRelevant postgraduate courses
oKnowledge of current drivers of service improvement in relation to stroke rehabilitation
oEvidence of CPD in Neurological Physiotherapy
oPostgraduate experience of in patient stroke care and/or in and out patient neurological rehabilitation.
oRecognises the importance of compassion in healthcare
oDemonstrates a flexible attitude to working
oCar driver/access to a car for ESD service
