Meraki Talent is currently assisting a well-known investment bank in their search for an Tax Advisory Associate.

Based in London, this position will work dynamically within the financial services sector on a variety of different tax advisory topics including withholding tax.

The team is expanding due increase in workload and investment from the business. The role is unique as you have the chance to work across many different aspects of tax. You must be confident in challenging and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities of the Tax Advisory Associate:

You will monitor and review tax policy/ regulation changes that affect current tax processing and communicate the operational tax implications to various key stake holders.
You will create and document operational tax requirements, processes, policies and procedures.
You will attend and represent the company at industry forums where legislation and practical difficulties are being discussed.
Work effectively across geographical and functional boundaries demonstrating strong relationship skills.

Requirements for Tax Advisory Associate

Have experience in operational tax within practice, banking or asset management.
An understanding of custody would be advantageous.
Be able to demonstrate the ability to challenge and influence.
