    Description

    Multi Skilled EngineerRochdaleUp to £44,000 Are you an Engineer looking to work at an incredible, highly automated state-of-the-art manufacturing facility? iO has partnered with a well-established FMCG Manufacturer in the search for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team based in Rochdale.

    As the Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be overseeing the maintenance, servicing, and repair of all factory equipment.

    The primary goal of the role will be to ensure that production operations are at peak efficiency, which will enable the achievement of key performance targets.

    Opportunity to stay updated on technological advancements and implement best practices in the factory.
    Diagnose defects, execute repairs and conduct thorough testing before handover.
    Liaise with contractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
    Opportunity to contribute to departmental and site improvement projects.
    Review processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste and maintain quality.
    Monitor and conduct dynamic performance tests of new/current machinery on a regular basis.
    Formal engineering qualificationFamiliarity with system drawings and machinery manuals (Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulic/Pneumatic)3+ years experience working within a FMCG environment (food manufacturing is desirable)


    Knowledge of PLCs and programming skillsExperience of working with PPM systems and knowledge of PUWER regs18th Edition Electrical Regulations You will be working a rotating shift pattern of 05:45-14:40 and 14:15-23:10 and in return for this, you will receive a salary of up to £46,000 alongside some brilliant benefits such as 28 days holiday (plus bank holidays), pension contribution, discounted canteen, Medicash and more.
