    We are seeking an exceptional practitioner who is committed to raising standards for students to join our established Science department as a Lead Practitioner.

    We believe that every child matters and by working collaboratively we can transform lives and Build Bright Futures. It is a heavily oversubscribed school which is held in high regard in the community. Our recent Ofsted inspection (Feb 24) rated our school as Good.

    To improve student outcomes and engagement by ensuring high quality teaching and learning is consistent across the Science faculty and the wider school.

    To have in-depth knowledge of recent academic research in teaching and learning.

    Develop and implement teaching and learning strategies throughout the faculty which raise the quality of teaching and learning of all staff and therefore raise student standards and progress.

    Research and evaluate innovative curricular practices including leading edge technology for learning and draw on research outcomes and other sources of external evidence to inform own practice and that of colleagues.

    Develop high quality teaching materials and schemes of learning throughout the faculty to support outstanding teaching.
    Demonstrable experience of high-quality teaching and learning;
    Demonstrable experience of effective performance management and quality improvement within a school environment;
    Knowledge of the National Curriculum and OFSTED Framework regarding effective leadership, management and self-evaluation;
