Our client has a RCVS Hospital accredited practice based on Brighton and they are looking for a Full or Part Time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
The clinic is based in Brighton, so you can enjoy the vibrant city life while being close to the beautiful Sussex hills for a perfect blend of city and country living.
There is a supportive team of managers and directors who are genuinely friendly, approachable and available to help.They maintain high clinical standards and offer an interesting, varied caseload with committed clients who want the best for their pets.
The practice is well-equipped with x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and theatre facilities. Theynearby hospital has state of the art equipment including CT, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and a state-of-the-art theatre.They offer First Opinion, Hospital, ECC, and Referrals services, with dedicated on-site night staff for continuity of care.
There is a generous annual CPD allowance with extra funding considered for advanced studies, as well as covering VDS and RCVS registration fees.
Your day-to-day will include theatre time, nurse clinics, and the opportunity to work within the referral or hospital teams.Ideally, you should have at least one year of post-graduate experience,due to the varied and fast paced nature of the practice.
Some stock management experience is beneficial but not essential.They believe in making sure you are happy in your role and as part of this they are very happy to discuss flexible working options.
Their standard working week is 4 days a week, 1 full weekend and 2 half weekends as part of a 14 week rolling rota however,they also consider part-time, alternative patterns, or a hybrid role with the ECC team at night (4 or 5 days a week, 1 in 7 weekends, no out-of-hours, with the opportunity for paid shifts on the ECC team for holiday cover).
