    Description

    A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focused Optical Assistant who is looking for a full time career with a market leading optical group.


    You will be working in a well established optical practice just north of the Walsall area, with full support from the owners to ensure you are comfortable in all working environments.

    The group have built up a strong reputation for quality and customer service and now have an opening for someone like minded to continue to deliver to the highest standards.

    Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

    The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options.

    Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.

    In this small group of practices, no two days are the same which gives you the variety of working environment and team dynamic.

    Requirements of the Optical Assistant

    My client is looking for applicants with at least 1 year of experience as an Optical Assistant. ideally within a busy practice.

    The ability to dispense to all levels is essential with a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.

    A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

    Compensation for the Optical Assistant


    For your efforts a competitive salary of up to £23,000 basic with a good overall package and prospects for the future is on offer along with additional benefits.
