SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Waste and Delivery Coordinator for an excellent, market leader based in Eastwood.

This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:15pm, early finish on a Friday, depending on experience the client pay up to £30,000.

For this role you will need to be a very competent administrator, with a minimum of 4 years experience, ideally coming from a more technical background, as you will be required to know regulations and standards, deal with contracts, scheduling.

You will be reporting directly into the EHS Manager.

Key duties:

To support the EHS Manager in the correct completion and retention of waste transfer / waste consignment notes, both internal and external.
Ensure the correct storage and segregation of hazardous waste to regulatory requirements
Ensure safe driving regulations/standards are adhered to.
Liaison with authorised & licenced waste contractors in the collection and transfer of hazardous and nonhazardous waste.
The production and implementation of emergency response plans for waste storage and the testing of such plans.
Development and execution of efficient plans in the transportation of parts and collection of waste from UK sites.
To organise and manage a team of logistic operatives (drivers) to ensure timely delivery of parts and the collection of waste.
To ensure appropriate record keeping to monitor compliance and meet regulatory requirements
Liaise with Environmental Agency and other key stakeholders on the storage and transfer of waste when required.
Conduct and record safety tours within their area or responsibility
Ensure all safety matters raised are addressed promptly and that investigations are completed
