We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile automotive clients based in Crewe. They are currently looking for a Digital Sales Project Manager/Product Owner to join them for an initial 9-month contract.


Overview of the role:

My client requires experienced project management support in establishing a Digital Sales program to deliver against key organisational objectives. The project management support will co-ordinate the input of key stakeholders to develop the customer journeyand business case.


Upon approval of the program, the support required will change to that of experienced product ownership to develop a detailed backlog of use cases for subsequent implementation, the launch of the digital sales platform and the management of future productincrements.

Skills and experience required:


  • Proven experience in managing complex customerfacing digital products and services within the automotive or luxury brand industry with an eCommerce
  • Demonstrable knowledge of every aspect of the digital product development life cycle, preferably using Waterfall, Agile & DevOps
  • Demonstrable experience of working within the luxury brand industry targeting highnet worth individuals and acting as the voice of the customer in relation to digital technology
  • Ability to effectively plan, organise and prioritise with demonstrable project management skills being able to manage multiple complex tasks
  • Collaborative working style with demonstrable experience of leading cross
- functional teams of people to deliver complex projects on-time and to

Practical and technical knowledge required:


  • High degree of business acumen and understanding of core business process
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the company product range both current and past
  • Working knowledge of vehicle legislation topics pertaining to emissions g. WLTP
- / NEDC and other selling laws

  • Working knowledge of compliant data usage in line with data protection legislations, including but not limited to, the GDPR, Chinese Cyber Security Law and California Consumer Privacy Act
  • Sound understanding of digital and eCommerce technologies
  • Understanding of enterprise technology systems and associated support and maintenance processes
  • Knowledge of VW Group IT systems landscape beneficial (other automotive organisations acceptable)
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA & Confluence
  • Knowledge of presentation software including PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of data analytics and experience of tools such as Google Analytics 360 (or equivalent) and Tableau to present data

Qualifications:


  • Graduate calibre with business / commercial degree or equivalent
  • Post graduate or appropriate professional qualification in a commercial field desirable
  • SAFe or alternative project management qualification expected

Location:


This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to work from the clients Crewe office 2-3 days per week.


Working hours:

Standard working hours with some flex where required.
