Exam Invigilator


Hourly rate:
£10.42 to £11.56** per hours + statutory holiday pay (dependant on the level of experience)


Hours / Contract:
Hours are casual, on an ad-hoc basis


Location:
Broxbourne and Ware, Hertfordshire


In order to support the students at Hertford Regional College (HRC), we need support with the supervision of exams, as well as staff to support students with their reading and writing during exams.


This work is paid at an hourly rate dependant on the level of experience at
£10.42 to £11.56 per hours (plus statutory holiday pay).

Hours are casual, on an ad-hoc basis. Applicants are welcome to do as much or as little as they are able to. The exams team at HRC is well-established, and you would be well supported in your work. Previous experience is not an essential as you will be supported with training.


You will be required to support the students at all levels and age groups during the Invigilating session whilst maintaining good communication and an air of authority for Centre compliance.

The working hours are not numerous and only required in busy exam periods.

Therefore, this position might suit someone who normally cannot commit long-term to permanent or part time positions but can do some hours when exams come along.


The Key exam dates start from 23rd May to 10th June 2024 with various dates before and after.


Key work times are generally from 8.30am to 11.30am - 9am to 12pm, 9.30am to 12.30pm or 12pm to 3pm which we are happy to be flexible on.


PLEASE NOTE:


The college CANNOT offer sponsorship** due to budgets and time restraints.

One must have the right to work in the UK**.
