- Ensure children receive stimulating and purposeful experiences appropriate to their age and stage
- Build positive relations within the team and parents through effective communication
- Recruit, train, develop, and appraise staff for high-quality childcare practice
- Conduct staffing rotas to maintain appropriate staffing levels and ratios
- Lead sales and marketing plans, including open days and local campaigns
- Manage the financial health of the nursery, managing costs in line with budgets
- Liaise with associations to stay updated in Early Years
- Promote a collaborative, friendly environment where each member of the team has a voice
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification, ideally with Childcare Management and Leadership qualifications
- Previous experience working in a nursery setting or equivalent, within a management position
- Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
- Good knowledge of the regulatory landscape

We have a great opportunity for a Nursery Manager to join a wonderful setting in the Enfield area.As Nursery Manager you will provide the highest standard of compliance, care, and education for children and effectively manage daily operations of the nursery, including positive partnerships with staff and parents.
The nursery is a short walk from the tube and overland stations, is served well by local bus routes and has car parking available. They have great facilities including outdoor space and offer lots of extra-curricular activities including languages and music.
