    Description
    We have a nursery close to Holland Park that is seeking a Nursery Manager to lead their modern nursery. Just seconds away from tube with quick and easy access to the District and Piccadilly lines, they are close to the main bus route and a stone's throw from the shops.

    Situated in a modern development, this nursery provides inspirational learning experiences, both indoors and outdoors and their long-standing team of Early Years' practitioners provide a welcoming and stable environment where they help each child to achieve their full potential.

    As Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the nursery, providing the highest standard of compliance, care, and education for children and effectively manage daily operations of the nursery, including positive partnerships with staff and parents.

    They have great facilities including outdoor space and offer lots of extra-curricular activities including languages and music. Having specific areas for babies, toddlers and preschool children allows them to focus on the individual needs of the children and place them in an environment which will allow them to flourish. The nursery offers the highest quality childcare with a nurturing and stimulating environment in a purpose-built setting, with on-site chefs preparing healthy seasonal menus.

    Responsibilities:
    • The Nursery Manager builds and maintains strong relationships with parents and the surrounding community
    • Cultivating stimulating experiences tailored to children's age and stage of development
    • Overseeing the maintenance of records and child learning journals
    • Fostering a friendly and welcoming environment, and building a culture of self-evaluation and reflective practice
    • Providing regular training on safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour management
    • Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, including Ofsted, EYFS, Child Protection, Health & Safety, and GDPR
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare, preferably with Management and Leadership qualifications
    • Previous experience of a management role within a nursery setting
    • Good knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
    • Experience of training and developing an early years learning team
