    Position Title:

    Senior Integration EngineerDuration: PermanentLocation: CoventrySalary: Competitive salary + Flexi time, Private medical, Pension, up to 28 days holidaysOur Client is the world's largest privately owned and independent company for the development of powertrain systems, E-mobility applications, and instrumentation and test systems.

    They are looking for Senior Integration Engineer with a proactive attitude, who is a self-learner and highly motivated able to support and thrive in the area of Electrical and Electronic Integration.

    The role requires working with the Client and customer team members to deliver projects according to the plan. Software and Control Development of various systems and features of the electrified powertrain (energy management, thermal management, torque control etc.)

    Electric and Electronic Architecture Development, Integration, Commissioning, Testing and sign-off of electrified system and interactions within the vehicle powertrainDevise and execute customer clinics to assess acceptability and performanceDevise and execute the customer testing of the hybrid control and calibration (testing environments include SIL, HIL, LabCar, powertrain dyno cells, vehicle)Essential:

    MSc / MEng or PhD in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or equivalentExperience of automotive control systems and calibrationA working knowledge of vehicle architectures, communication protocols and componentsExperience with V-cycle automotive development, System Engineering and Quality toolsExperience with MatLab Simulink, dSpace, Vector or ETAS engineering toolsExperience with vehicle integration and commissioningWillingness and ability to interface constructively with a global teamExcellent time management and communication skillsExceptional customer facing attitudeDriving license valid for driving in the UK Preferable:Experience of automotive control systems and calibrationExperience in development according to ISO26262Knowledge of high voltage components (power supplies, DCDC converters, inverters, chargers, etc)Experience in high voltage tests, component verification, EMI, etcProject Management, Product Quality, DOORS or similarExperience using the Agile methodology for product developmentWhy work through Contech's?Contechs are a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology & Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
