....An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Physiotherapist to join the Lincolnshire Countywide Community Respiratory Team (CCRT). This could also be a band 5/6 development post for an experienced band 5 clinician who wishes to develop their respiratory skills and knowledge to become a future Respiratory Specialist.
We have full hours available for a Qualified Physiotherapist who has experience working with COPD and other chronic respiratory patients and has a passion to develop their existing knowledge and skills and shape the current existing service, continuing to raise the identity and provide high quality respiratory care throughout the community.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and conscientious practitioner to join the existing team on a permanent basis.The post holder will support the Senior Respiratory Specialists in their role, and they will plan, co-ordinate, deliver and evaluate Pulmonary Rehabilitation across designated sites.
They will carry their own respiratory caseload of patients that require specialist intervention, and perform respiratory and holistic assessment and high quality, effective evidence-based treatment of these patients with diverse, complex and multi-system pathologies.
They will also provide assessment and treatment of patients requiring acute respiratory assessment, early and routine supported discharge, oxygen therapy and complex case management where and when appropriate.

The successful applicant will be part of our multi-disciplinary respiratory team which consists of Respiratory Nurse Specialists, Specialist Respiratory Practitioners, Respiratory Physiotherapy Specialists, Physiotherapy Assistants and Assistant Practitioners.
The base for this post is flexible depending upon the successful applicant.This post requires that you have the ability to travel between locations to carry out your work and to attend training and meetings; If you are motivated, enthusiastic, need a challenge and have respiratory physiotherapy background then we would like to hear from you.
Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy/OT/NursingEvidence of post-graduate education in Respiratory Physiotherapy Care / Chronic Disease management
Post graduate experience ideally in the fields of respiratory, exercise therapy and /or community care
Experience of running group-based rehabilitation/exercise classes or willingness to learn
Experience of leading In-service training sessions ,eg demonstrating techniques, explaining theory.
Previous community experience
Involvement in projects/working groups.
Previous experience of running a pulmonary rehab programme.
Previous experience of working as Band 6
Clinical knowledge in the field of Respiratory Care
Able to extract and utilise relevant evidence based data
