Senior Marketing Content Manager

My client is a world leading business that provides bespoke digital customer management services to some of the world's leading brands.

They help their clients gain insights from their customers interactions so that they can improve customers experiences. Theirclients are large banks, insurer, telecommunications, media and utility companies.
They are looking for a Senior Marketing Content Manager to come in and join their existing, strong Marketing team. This would be a varied role, part marketing manager, part project manager and part content writer/ creator.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Writing content such as blog articles, thought leadership, case studies, award entries, product content for the web, client presentations, digital marketing content based on internal interviews and desk research.
  • Overseeing the creation of video content and animations.
  • Manage and control content written by freelancers and our PR agency.
  • Shared ownership (with the digital team) on things like channel strategy, SEO, paid search, paid social, owned social media, results tracking, etc.
  • Liaise with marketing leadership on strategy, the topics we should be covering, kinds of content we should be producing. Also on the performance of our content in terms of raising awareness and generating inbound leads.

ABOUT YOU

Must-have requirements:

  • Significant experience writing businessrelated content, e.g. in marketing, journalism, business research, analyst firms, etc.
  • Ability to think logically, form opinions about a business issue and structure arguments to support that opinion. (Strong academic record is likely an advantage here.)
  • Willingness to muck in on all sorts of different activities and get them done.
  • Digital marketing skills.
  • Background relating either to customer experience management, its associated technologies, or any of our primary target sectors of banking, insurance, telco and media.
