- Be responsible for carrying maintenance routines, planned inspections and testing.
- Operate the facility on a day-to-day basis.
- Doing daily, weekly, and monthly checks along with some PPM schedules and learning more and more about how to do the maintenance in house.
- Ensure all processes are carried out to the correct standards and all the relevant documentation is completed.
- Feeding the facility using mobile plant.
- Keep the computerised maintenance management system accurate and up to date.
- Maintain the correct operational performance of the plant.
- Be proactive in identifying potential hazards and safety issues on site.
- Other duties as required.
- HNC/ HND/ Degree in Engineering Practice/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering or similar discipline is preferred.
- IOSH/ECITB/Telehandler/Forklift training (Desirable).
- Valid driving licence.
- Ideally, 2 years maintenance experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience working in a similar environment such as plant/industrial.
- Experience maintaining, calibrating, and commissioning process instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature measurement) is preferred.
- Strong team ethic with integrity, honesty, and a natural attention to detail
- Willingness to go above and beyond, a 'can-do' attitude.
- An ability to problem-solve, and more importantly to pro-actively problem solve at times without guidance.
- Ability to work off own initiative, multi-task, and work at a fast pace.
