Food and Beverage Supervisor
to join our Conference and Banqueting team.

THE ROLE - Conference and Banqueting Supervisor:

Your scope will be to support your Management team by leading your shift and overseeing in the day-to-day performance of the meetings and events food and beverage team.

We have a variety of private rooms and provide exceptional service to small private dinners and conferences for 400 delegates, and everything in between.


Key things you will be responsible for:
Proficiency in the tasks of Food and Beverage, including mise en place cleanliness, setting tables, taking orders, service of food and drinks, billing and payments
Leading daily briefings and handovers
Organising the daily workload, delegate tasks and co-ordinate breaks
Monitoring performance via checklists and SOPs
Providing feedback, and undertaking informal counselling to support improved performance
Supporting the team with any shift challenges
On job training of new employees
Handling and resolving guest feedback
Departmental requisitions
Billing queries, adjustments and recoveries
Cash ups and banking

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:

  • HND/NC/SVQ or equivalent qualification, or equivalent experience in food and beverage.
  • Experience of supervision and of working in similar quality environment
  • To be thorough, with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly build excellent working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic IT skills with knowledge of Office software and ability to use technology
  • UK Driving Licence preferred due to the shift pattern and spread out nature of the resort
