Job description

34.5 hours per week


We are a 39 bedroomed nursing and residential home, based in Newport Shropshire situated a short walking distance from the town.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist with daily activities of life
  • Assist to provide balanced and varied diet and fluids
  • Contribute to High Standards of care and hygiene within the home
  • Promote health and well being of residents
  • Promoting our residents' independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement

Requirements:


  • NVQ 2 preferred (but not essential) as training will be offered
  • To have empathy and a caring nature
  • Wishing to treat an individual as you would like to be treated yourself
  • Conscientious
  • Hard working
  • A good communicator
  • Able to work alone and as part of a close knit team
  • Honest
  • Great communication skills
