    Description

    Teaching Assistant – September Start

    A compassionate Teaching Assistant is required to work with pupils at an Outstanding Primary School in Waltham Forest, starting in September on a full-time basis

    About the role: A lovely Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant primary school community. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with primary-aged children in a mainstream setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support classroom activities, assist in managing pupil behaviour, and provide tailored support to students with varying needs. This role is ideal for someone with experience in primary education, particularly within an inner-city school environment

    What you will need:

    • Experience working with primary-aged students, preferably in a mainstream or SEN setting.
    • Proactive and positive approach to supporting student behaviour and learning.
    • Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (if not, we can assist with the application process)
    • Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate are preferred but not essential
    • A passion for education and commitment to the personal development of pupils
