    Description

    Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Senior Auditor to join our client's team. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a critical role in conducting audits, evaluating financial statements, and assessing internal controls to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

    You will be responsible for planning and executing audit engagements, analysing financial data, identifying areas of risk, and making recommendations to improve processes and controls. Additionally, you will communicate audit findings to management and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute audit engagements in accordance with professional standards
    • Review and assess financial statements and internal controls
    • Analyse financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of risk
    • Make recommendations to improve processes and controls
    • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry practices

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • ACA or ACCA qualified
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing
    • Strong knowledge of auditing standards and practices
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient in using spreadsheet and database software
    • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with stakeholders
    • Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision
