We are looking for a UX Lead to join our team based in Solihull.
UX Lead - (FT, PT, Job Share)


Here's what you'll be doing:


The E.ON I&C Pillar combines the current npower Business Solutions (nBS) & E.ON B2B businesses to create a new £5billion revenue business serving c60,000 customers and around 300,000 meter points with a view to becoming the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK.

We have an exciting role within our Digital, Marketing & Strategy team.

In this role you will be responsible for managing online user experience (UX), customer experience (CX), website platform management, content optimisation and website governance and compliance.

This role offers a great opportunity to work with the Campaign, Journey and Data Manager to ensure consistency across the digital aspects of the customer journey, as well as an opportunity to build knowledge within the energy industry.

You will have a pro-active working manner and as such you will have the opportunity to bring forward your own ideas to the team.

This role will offer the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Solihull) approximately 2 days in the office per week.


Responsibilities

  • Creating the strategy alongside the Digital, Propositions & Insight Manager
  • Own and deliver the UX/digital development strategy, marketing plan and budget
  • Own and manage all nBS digital development activity, including the website information architecture and manage site maps, navigation, page amendments and deletions
  • Create and track CX and UX metrics and identify and implement initiatives to drive CX/UX improvements
  • Set up digital reporting across the websites covering UX and governance. Frequently share findings with the wider business. Responsible for reporting on all website behaviour analytics. Use multiple data sources, inc. Web Trends, Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Hotjar
  • Be a digital expert within the team for our CMS platform, HubSpot. Provide support, guidance, training materials, SOPs and troubleshooting to the wider Marketing team
  • Responsible from a technical perspective for Dashboard frontend. Ensure consistency for customers across all digital platforms. Ensure the Dashboard marketing area, using HubSpot CMS is regularly updated

What we need from you:


Essential requirements

  • Graduate calibre; website and/or digital experience
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent experiences that meet user needs
  • Skilled in user centric thinking
  • Statisticsdriven; numeric, analytical, comfortable with large amounts of numbers and presenting the results of own analysis. Ability to interpret web stats (e.g. Hotjar, Google Analytics, etc). Ability to interpret complex data and concepts and translate information for different audience needs
  • Selfstarter, selfmotivator, high standards of drive and determination to succeed. Ability to work to demanding deadlines and targets in a fast moving, dynamic and highpressured environment

Desirable requirements

  • Knowledge of tools advantageous. (including HubSpot, SEMrush, Hotjar (or similar), Google Analytics
  • Managing projects with multiple workstreams and across multiple channels
  • Knowledge and experience of building, overseeing and launching websites
  • Agency management experience (design/development briefing and performance measurement against contract)
  • An understanding of backoffice systems and technical knowledge to be able to work with and guide developers. Understanding of web technologies and limitations/benefits
  • Budget management and proven track record of delivering positive ROI
