    As Assembler/Line Runner within the Backhoe Loader (BHL) team, you will operate as part of the production team responsible for the assembly of parts or components to produce Building Construction Product (BCP) machines, according to specified work orders.

    Follow documented standard work procedures/instructions to perform safe and defect free assembly of parts and components, using various hand/power tools and lifting equipment provided in the work area.

    Train/coach Assembly Technician's/Apprentices to standard work instructions
    Follow and utilise Caterpillar Production System principles of continuous improvement reporting, waste elimination and standard work.

    Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe in line with 5S and total preventative maintenance (TPM) Adhere to the company's Health and Safety policy and safe working practices.

    Undertake training and further learning as required.
    Demonstrable high level of assembly or mechanical aptitude and accuracy
    Have a fully flexible approach to the job role & responsibilities (willing to work overtime)
    Willing to undertake required training/learning.
    Must be willing to work a multi-shift pattern.
    Flexible working arrangements will be considered for this role, in-line with the needs of the business.

    Salary:
    £26,750 rising to £28,000 after role triggers are met


    Contract:
    Permanent
