Background:

A full-time Senior Research Assistant is sought to join the Centre for Food Policy for 5 months to work on a London-based mixed methods research project funded by the


NIHR:
Family Food Experience Study - London.

The aim of the project is to produce guidance to local authorities on how they can adapt and augment their existing obesity plans so that they work more effectively and efficiently to reduce inequalities.


Responsibilities:


Person Specification:


The successful applicant will have a Masters related to child obesity, food policy or health or school food and the nutrition environment.

They will have knowledge of child obesity policies or interventions, and child focused food-related policies or interventions in Schools. Experience with mixed-methods is essential including complex statistical analysis techniques e.g. Structural Equation Modelling and relevant software packages.
