Columbia University Irving Medical Center, one of the nation's foremost academic health science centers working together with one of the nation's premier health systems, New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of a new research initiative in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Critical Care and Hospital Medicine, Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at the Columbia University, NY Children's Redox Health Center invites applicants for an open tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor full-time faculty position to establish a research program focused on mass spectrometry (MS)-based spatial and single cell redox biology.
- Must have a
MD/PhD degree with strong background mass spectrometry and redox biology - Consistently strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with professionals in other disciplines;
- The ability to create a highenergy resultsoriented work environment that encourages colleagues and staff to value each other's contributions; and
- The ability to share and celebrate success with colleagues and staff.

HIRING SALARY RANGE:
Assistant Professor:
$130,000 - $145,000
Associate Professor:
$135,000 - $150,000

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
