This demand on our services means we are seeking to recruit a Senior Consultant with Defence or Security experience to bolster our current team and to play a role in the leadership and growth of the sector.

In addition, we will expect you to motivate, support and develop junior members of the Moorhouse team and play an active role in supporting the career development of a small group of colleagues.


As a
Senior Consultant you will have:


  • Experience working within the GENERATE, ENABLE or OPERATE organisations in UK Defence as described in the Defence Operating Model. This could be within Front Line Commands, Defence Digital, DNO, DE&S, AWE, or other MOD agencies
years consulting or industry experience whether this is from a big consulting firm, boutique consultancy or experience gained in industry

  • A strong track record of scoping and delivering consulting solutions and services; with some experience of working within a BD and Sales pipeline plus a demonstrable network of relevant relationships
  • An ability to understand current and emergent client needs and incorporate into compelling technical solutions with clear benefits
  • A passion for building and nurturing strong relationships, both with clients and colleagues; and
  • Experience of effectively managing and collaborating with senior client stakeholders.
Ideal, but not essential, is experience in one or more of:

  • Defence Systems Approach to Training and working within Individual and/or Collective training environments.
  • Working within Defence People Transformation programmes.
  • Experience in Business Change methodologies such as ADKAR, Kotter's, Nudge, etc.

  • A total cash package in excess of £80,000 comprising of a base salary of £64,575 and a combination of personal and company bonuses that are paid every six months
