    The post holder is responsible for providing an Occupational Therapy service to routine and complex patients within specialty groups across the acute and community services.

    Responsible for patients referred for Occupational Therapy assessment,rehabilitation, management and discharge planning within the Multi-disciplinary team, throughout speciality teams within the Royal Surrey services.

    To provide an effective high quality service to patientsTo participate in training and supervision of assistants/techs and studentsTo undertake evidence based projects as required
    Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy by recognised awarding body College of Occupational Therapists
    Satisfies the criteria for full Membership of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Knowledge of the role of Occupational Therapy and assessments for patients with an acute and chronic diagnosis
    Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, orally and in writing.
    Computer literate
    Holds a full UK driving licence and has use of own car
    Multi-disciplinary team work experience
