Description

A Purchase Ledger Assistant is being recruited by an established charity based in Fareham and you will be working as part of a small team reporting to a Team Leader.

Your responsibilities will include all aspects of purchase ledger:

  • Distributing invoices for authorisation
  • Recording invoices to the ledger
  • Reconciling statements
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Preparing weekly payment runs
  • Maintain utilities spreadsheet, code and post to nominal
  • Accruals and prepayments


You will need to have a minimum of 2 years high volume purchase ledger/accounts payable experience, be able to work as part of a team and have a good working knowledge of Word and Excel.

Experience of Pegasus Opera or Sharepoint would be an advantage.

A good working environment is offered, parking on site, 37 hour week and 25 days holiday + bank holidays. This would be all office based.
