    Description

    Are you a Building Control Surveyor seeking a fresh challenge in the Essex area? Sarto Thomas are delighted to collaborate with a client in the Building Control industry as they search for a professional to join their team.

    As a Building Control Surveyor, you will be at the forefront of building control activities for our client's projects. This presents a remarkable opportunity for a candidate who is looking for the next step in their career whether you are an assistant or a senior - We would like to hear from you

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Work on a portfolio of construction projects, including plan checking and site visits mainly domestic and low level commercial projects.


    • Stay abreast of dynamic changes in building regulations and swiftly address compliance issues during construction.


    • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, architects, and stakeholders.

    To assist the Building Control Manager to identify opportunities to develop and implement improvements and innovations by proactively contributing ideas, skills and knowledge

    Qualifications and Experience:


    • Must be registered or working towards a Class 2 with the BSR


    • Good construction industry knowledge specifically building control duties method and techniques


    • Understanding of legislation, regulations and professional codes or practice for the sector


    • Proven expertise in building control, showcasing a track record of successfully managing projects.
