    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Standards Engineer to join our Submarines Standards Office in Derby.

    You will assist in translation of technical requirements from Subject Matter Experts across the business into clear, concise and formally-governed engineering documents.

    You will get exposure to a wide network of colleagues including senior leadership and with acquire a breadth of experience across the Nuclear Submarines business, our processes and products.

    W orking closely with SME-s, there is an opportunity to gain a depth of understanding in specific engineering technologies.

    We're a leader in propulsion system design and development for the Royal Navy's nuclear submarine fleet and the sole provider and technical authority.

    Our Submarines business is responsible for the design, manufacture, supply and through-life support of nuclear propulsion-related products and systems in support of the Royal Navy's submarine fleet.

    Apprenticeship or degree-level engineering qualified (or equivalent).

    Experience in writing/maintaining Engineering documents is desirable as is experience of managing programmes/interdependencies.
