    H4 – 37 hours per week, term time only

    £24,881 to £26,107 (Inclusive of fringe payment)

    Actual salary for 37 hours, £20,804 - £21,830

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate seeking to gain experience working with young people in an educational setting, in an innovative, energetic, and highly supportive school.

    The post-holder will provide targeted support for individuals and small groups of students, to help them to thrive at school. The school is recognised as a centre of excellence for staff development and teacher training. This role provides potential opportunities to train as a teacher or explore other career opportunities across the school.

    We are keen to support each member of the Graduate LSA team to use their passion and expertise in working with students. For example, if you have a particular passion for Arts/Music/Sports or any other area, we would support you in further exploring and developing your passion as part of your role.

    The successful candidate for this post will have:

    · The ability and willingness to understand the needs of students from different social backgrounds, with a range of special educational needs

    · Excellent oral and written communication

    · The ability to form and maintain appropriate professional relationships and boundaries with young people and adults

    · Good organisational and time management skills

    · The ability to work constructively as part of a team

    · Good ICT skills to support learning

    · The ability and willingness to learn new skills, with a commitment to personal career development.

    · The desire to gain experience working in a school, with a view to possibly move into teaching in the future
