The Software Advisory Consultant role:
Working with some of the country's leading technology innovators, you will discuss their current projects, understanding the technical aspects of their process and of what they're looking to achieve with this new technology.
You will get close enough to the client's project to be able to report on it, and colleagues in the same team who have vast amounts of tax expertise will work with you on this.
Together, the objective it to create a solid report on the client's project, which helps to identify their tax needs, through HMRC, to enable the client to access significant grant funding to enable their project, and business to flourish.
As part of this process, you will see opportunities to identify key areas where problems may occur, you will be a catalyst in businesses moving forwards with their technology using quantitative analysis whether it's through finance, telecommunications, VFX, advanced chip development or artificial intelligence or another form of emerging tech.
Requirements for role:
- Degree/background within engineering
- Interest of progressing within Tax training provided
- 34 years' experience in their specialist industry: e.g., engineering or IT
- Tax experience would be an advantage
- Experience in a clientfacing role
- Report creation/data gathering experience
- Confident level of communication
- Experience of working on multiple projects with a portfolio of clients
Salary:
£35,000 - £50,000 per annum + option of study support within ATT (if based outside of London)
