East Midlands Academic Health Science Network (EMAHSN) brings together the NHS, universities, public health and social care across the East Midlands to work with industry to transform the identification, adoption and spread of proven innovations and best practice.
Funded by NHS England, NHS Improvement and the Office for Life Sciences, EMAHSN is hosted by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, but operate as a self-contained organisation based at the Jubilee Campus of the University of Nottingham.
We are recruiting aProgramme Coordinator to jointly support the Improvement and Innovation portfolios.
The role will focus on a range of programmes and projects aligned to these work streams (NHS Improvement and NHS England), ensuring that all corporate and programme management requirements are consistently applied and supported.
Main duties of the job
The
Programme Coordinator will support the associated programme activities including setting up and maintaining programme and project documentation, being a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, monitoring risks, interpreting and recording financial/reporting data, tracking and reporting on achievement of milestones, diary management and organising a variety meetings and events.
The successful post holder will have a high level of administration and office management experience ideally in the NHS, social care or health related setting.

EMAHSN is a hybrid working organisation with staff working a combination of home and office working.
There is currently no minimum number of days that staff are required to work from the office however in-person attendance frequency is as required by your line manager and is also required for quarterly meetings.

- Evidence of good written English

- Recent significant experience in a senior administration/ business support role or as a PA/EA at Director Level in a large complex organisation
- Ability to accurately input data into a variety of spreadsheets
- Ability to use to a high standard Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Experience of office management and understanding of processes and procedures relating to this
- Budget management experience

- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the skills to communicate with a wide range of different professional groups

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
