    Job Description

  • As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, provide leadership across the organisation in line with organisational values and behaviours.
  • Be visible to colleagues and attend offices 2-3 days a week.
  • Provide strategic thought-leadership, expertise, and guidance in all areas of Technology.
  • Build strong relationships and ensure the technology function is well integrated across the organisation.
  • Ensure effective performance management and support team members through coaching and mentoring.
  • Undertake a continuing programme of personal development, maintaining professional knowledge and understanding of current best practice.
  • Ensure commercial processes are managed effectively and manage the technology budget including forecasting, budget setting and monitoring.
  • Be an active, engaged and contributing member of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Provide clear performance measures including KPIs and team performance data to the Chief Information Officer. The Successful Applicant
    • Previous experience managing a technology function at Director level.
    • Experience leading relevant technology processes including cyber-security, service, architecture, infrastructure and strategy.
    • Diplomatic with the ability to interact successfully at all levels.
    • Good listener with the ability to effectively apply the knowledge gained.
    • Strong belief in customer satisfaction and business benefit driven solutions.
    • Educated to degree level or qualified by equivalent experience.
    • ITIL or CoBIT certified or equivalent. What's on Offer
