- As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, provide leadership across the organisation in line with organisational values and behaviours.
- Be visible to colleagues and attend offices 2-3 days a week.
- Provide strategic thought-leadership, expertise, and guidance in all areas of Technology.
- Build strong relationships and ensure the technology function is well integrated across the organisation.
- Ensure effective performance management and support team members through coaching and mentoring.
- Undertake a continuing programme of personal development, maintaining professional knowledge and understanding of current best practice.
- Ensure commercial processes are managed effectively and manage the technology budget including forecasting, budget setting and monitoring.
- Be an active, engaged and contributing member of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Provide clear performance measures including KPIs and team performance data to the Chief Information Officer. The Successful Applicant
- Previous experience managing a technology function at Director level.
- Experience leading relevant technology processes including cyber-security, service, architecture, infrastructure and strategy.
- Diplomatic with the ability to interact successfully at all levels.
- Good listener with the ability to effectively apply the knowledge gained.
- Strong belief in customer satisfaction and business benefit driven solutions.
- Educated to degree level or qualified by equivalent experience.
- ITIL or CoBIT certified or equivalent. What's on Offer
