The Role:

  • Joining our inclusive Policy and Guidance Team, you will have the opportunity to advance your career as part of our dedicated Care Governance and Quality Assurance function whilst playing a key role in ensuring practice excellence in our Adults' Health and Care Directorate.
  • Your experience of writing strategies and policies or your social work background will enable you to develop improved policy, practice and guidance materials for our social work practitioners (including the Social Care Practice Manual). This is a varied role where you will have the opportunity to uphold best practices and support our equality and inclusion work programme and being educated to degree level or the equivalent is essential.
  • Utilising your eye for detail and organised approach, you will help us to improve the quality of our services through contributing to investigations, reviewing complex cases and embedding learning and improvement activities. You will have a proven track record of analysing, reviewing and making sense of complex or ambiguous information. You will also use your engagement and communication skills to support the wider team on the design and delivery of service user and citizen engagement initiatives, including co-production to empower the people who use our services to have a voice in how we run our services. The role is also well suited to working from home, although there will be some requirement to work from the office in Winchester depending on business needs.
