    Description

    Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading material handling manufacturer who are looking to recruit a new field based forklift service engineer to service their client base around Kent.

    With a competitive salary & overtime opportunity plus numerous other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced field engineer interested in a new role.

    Servicing a client base across Kent

    • Servicing forklift trucks & other material handling equipment
    • Fixing other equipment to include plant hire
    • Reporting to the Service Manager regarding any issues
    • Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when servicing & repairing forklifts & other equipment
    The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background but this is not essential.

    The company is open to considering candidates from other backgrounds including plant, powered access, automotive/commercial vehicles, cranes or other related sectors provided you have a technical NVQ or equivalent.

    Competitive salary (up to £32k basic)

    • Overtime paid time and a half
    • Up to 5% annual bonus

    The company are an international manufacturer of forklift trucks, thus operating in the material handling industry.

    Part of a wider group, they're also involved in supplying various other types of warehouse equipment and are one the most well known brands within the material sector, being a true market leader.

    Having obtained consistent growth for the last 30 years, they're expecting this to continue and are therefore looking to bring in new engineers to service the consistently expanding client base
