    Description

    As an Application Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development of new Flexible Semiconductor products for both internal and external customers.

    You will collaborate with our R&D, Engineering, Product Management and Commercial teams as the technical interface for product ideation, improvement, innovation and road mapping activities, as well as providing first line technical support for customers seeking to develop their own products in Pragmatic's technology.

    To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in semiconductor design, verification or application.

    Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuits, FPGA, ASIC, SoC, EDA tools and methodologies are required, while previous experience engaging with semiconductor foundries and/or OSATs is welcomed.

    You should also be willing to travel occasionally to meet with customers and attend industry events.
    Understanding of thin film electronics.
    A strong understanding of electronics and its core principles.
    A strong ability to work to tight deadlines and progress multiple projects simultaneously.
    Consult on project technical feasibility, specifications, and deliverables.
    Work closely with IC Design, Test and Assembly teams to ensure customer success.

    Aid customers through from the design phase of a project through to manufacture and delivery, providing feedback and inputs across the process.

    Qualifications and training

    Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar (ECAD eg Cadence, Altium trainingdesirable.)
    A strong broadunderstanding of electronics (transistor level or board level)and its core principles.
    Demonstrable experience in either Electronic/IC development projects with a successful outcome .
    A previous experience in Semiconductor Design/Foundry roles is very desirable
