Description
Applications are invited for enthusiastic, dedicated colleagues to join the existing consultant gastroenterologists to work mainly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
A particular interest in upper gastrointestinal disease (including therapeutic endoscopy), inflammatory bowel disease and/or bowel cancer screening and/or intestinal failure would be welcomed.
Clinical responsibility includes outpatient and endoscopy lists as well as supporting inpatient care which is shared on a 7-day consultant of the week model.
And will also participate in the GI bleed rota.Successful candidates will be encouraged and supported to further develop their own skills and will also be expected to be involved in Undergraduate and Postgraduate education and research.
