    Responsibilities:

    • Manage transactions including drafting principal documents, negotiating, and overseeing due diligence and disclosure processes.
    • Advise on complex, strategic cross-border M&A and joint ventures, focusing especially on the energy and natural resources sectors.
    • Lead business development efforts, actively promoting the firm and identifying new opportunities.
    • Conduct multi-party negotiations and manage aspects of large-scale corporate transactions across various jurisdictions.
    • Qualifications:
      • Must be a UK-qualified lawyer with outstanding academic credentials or common law qualified with experience of working in London.
      • Should have current experience in a top-tier City or US firm's corporate department, with a preference for those with interest and/or experience in the energy and natural resources sectors.
      • Requires first-rate legal technical skills, a strong understanding of the law as it applies to corporate clients, and excellent commercial awareness.
      • Needs proven business development skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
      • Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills are essential.
